Information you provide
Your account uses a sign-in identifier and the basic information supplied by your chosen sign-in provider, such as your email and display name. A birth profile can include your name, birth date, optional birth time, birthplace, coordinates and time zone. Birthplace is entered by you; Astrava does not need access to your phone’s current location.
Reading requests can include questions, dreams, interests, relationship context, and another person’s birth details. Add another person’s information only with their permission. Completed readings and imported readings are saved privately in your Astrava account. Guest birth details and your chosen display preferences may be stored on your device.
How AI readings are created
Before your first AI reading, Astrava asks you to agree to the required processing. Relevant details and calculated chart information are sent through OpenRouter to Google’s Gemini model. This may include your name, birth date, chart, question, or the other details needed for that reading. These providers process the information to return a response. Do not include information you do not want them to process.
Astrava requests providers that opt out of collecting request data through OpenRouter’s provider controls. This is not a promise that no operational or abuse-prevention records exist. Their own policies also apply: OpenRouter privacy and Google privacy. Chart calculations themselves can run on your device without an AI request.
Accounts, storage and purchases
Google Firebase provides authentication and stores account data and readings. Astrava has a separate account system from hardiktrehan.com. Old web reading history is stored in the original browser and is imported only when you choose to upload an export.
Apple or Google processes mobile subscription payments. Nyza receives purchase identifiers, subscription status, billing-period information and a store ownership identifier to verify access and prevent fraudulent reuse. Astrava does not receive your full payment-card details. Store account and payment records are governed by the store’s policies.
Operational information and support
Our servers process request metadata, including IP addresses, timestamps and errors, to operate the service, prevent abuse and diagnose failures.
To keep free readings fair, the app asks Apple (App Attest) or Google (Play Integrity) to confirm that a free-reading request comes from the genuine Astrava app on a real device. Apple or Google returns a verdict about the app and device; on iPhone, Astrava also stores a device key identifier and public key with your account, deleted with your account. These checks do not identify you and are not used for advertising. Paid readings, charts, exports and deletion never depend on them. Store test subscriptions used by app reviewers and testers are recorded as tests and excluded from revenue reporting.
Support requests contain the contact details and message you choose to send. The Astrava native app does not include advertising or advertising tracking. Visiting the Nyza website is also covered by the website privacy policy.
Your choices and deletion
You can edit your birth details, export completed readings, delete individual readings, or delete your Astrava account from You → Your data in the app. Account deletion removes your Astrava sign-in account, birth profile and reading history. It does not delete your separate hardiktrehan.com account or copies you exported.
Minimal account and store ownership records are retained to prevent replay of purchases and reconcile billing. Apple, Google and other providers may retain records under their own policies. Deleting Astrava does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it with the store to stop future renewals. See deletion instructions and the web request option.
Readings stay in your account until you delete them or the account. You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights available where you live. We may need to verify that the request belongs to your account before making a change.
Children and sensitive information
Astrava is for adults 18 and older. We record your adult confirmation, the terms version you accepted and the acceptance date with your account. We do not collect an identity document or an extra birth date for this confirmation. Avoid sharing sensitive records or information about children in reading prompts. Contact us if a child has provided personal information so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when Astrava’s data practices change. Material changes to AI processing will be explained before the changed processing is used.
